As a single traveler who's into boutique hotels with fitness options, my family's two-night stay at Amarela Resort in the Philippines was a bit of a departure, but we loved it. The hotel is situated by the sea and has this charming atmosphere full of antique décor. We greatly appreciated the attentiveness of the staff, especially when they provided aloe vera from the garden for my daughter after she got a few bug bites. Our days were spent enjoying the inviting library filled with books and board games - perfect for family bonding time. The private beach offered a tranquil getaway, where we tried kayaking and even snorkeling right off the shore. The emphasis on family-friendly activities made it easy to unwind and have fun together. The dining experience was also a highlight; I can't recommend the coconut seafood dish enough.
